Role Overview
The Business Developer will be responsible for identifying, developing, and maintaining partnerships and commercial opportunities for NanoLoom. This individual will work to expand NanoLoom’s presence in the biotech and pharmaceutical sectors, driving sales, partnerships, and funding opportunities that align with the company’s strategic goals.
Responsibilities
- Identify and engage with potential partners and customers in the biotech, pharmaceutical, and academic sectors.
- Develop and execute strategies to expand market reach and establish key partnerships.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align product offerings with market needs and opportunities.
- Prepare and deliver compelling pitches, proposals, and presentations to potential clients and investors.
- Negotiate and close business deals, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
- Track market trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities to inform strategic decisions.
- Represent NanoLoom at industry events and conferences to enhance visibility and build networks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Life Sciences, or a related field.
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or partnerships within the biotech or pharmaceutical industry.
- Strong network within the life sciences sector is a significant advantage.
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work independently and drive strategic initiatives in a startup environment.
- Understanding of single-molecule imaging or related technologies is a plus.
