Role Overview
The Application Scientist will act as the bridge between NanoLoom’s technology and its end-users. This individual will work closely with researchers, drug developers, and internal teams to ensure the NanoLoom chip is effectively utilized to meet scientific and industrial needs. They will help develop protocols, analyze experimental data, and provide critical feedback to refine and improve the product.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with end-users to understand their experimental needs and demonstrate the capabilities of the NanoLoom chip.
- Develop and optimize protocols for single-molecule imaging applications using the NanoLoom chip.
- Provide training and technical support to customers, ensuring they maximize the chip’s potential.
- Analyze experimental data and provide actionable insights for users and internal teams.
- Collect user feedback to identify areas for improvement and contribute to the development of new features.
- Represent the company at conferences, workshops, and industry events to showcase the product’s capabilities.
Qualifications
- PhD or equivalent experience in Molecular Biology, Biophysics, Biochemistry, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience with single-molecule imaging and DNA-protein interaction studies.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to derive meaningful insights from experimental data.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to engage effectively with users and stakeholders.
- Experience working in biotech or pharmaceutical industries is a plus.
